This is just like San Fransisco's Chinatown, the food is excellent, the staff is very friendly, and when you walk in there are always two kids at the table waiting for a customer. It's a very nice restaurant and has been open for long as I know (probably about 10 years). I will be back!

We are addicted to this place !!! Since our first order we were hooked and they have been consistent since... Cornell, the delivery guy is awesome !! He is always smiling and friendly.. and the food is delivered steaming hot.. The veggies are crisp and steamed perfectly..The pepper spice they give on the side is amazing.. I would recommend trying that on the side to pep up your meal a bit.. The prices are great and the servings are huge...

Ordered take out and was extremely disappointed. Despite calling ahead about 20 minutes before arriving food was not ready when we arrived. Had the chicken pan friend noodles, cashew chicken and crab ragoon. Food was not appetizing when we opened the boxes, and tasted even worse. Crab ragoon was just a liquid mess, the pan fried noodles had no sauce, and the cashew chicken was bland. We were not even provided with utensils or fortune cookies. The only positive was there was a lot of food. However when it's food you don't want then it's a lot of waste.

Just moved to Winter Garden. Found this place by accident. Surprisingly clean and good customer service. Sesame & orange chicken were both good.

I'm definitely a regular at this place, and this is why: The food quality is higher than most places in Orlando I've eaten at. Yes, this is standard Chinese take-out. Yes, the dining room isn't fancy. Yes, this is run by a family, and you will see their youngsters doing homework at one of the tables, behind the counter handing you your takeout, or watching a video on their iPad. Yes, it's in a divey complex, behind a Taco Bell, next to an E-Cig store. All of these things are true. However... They deliver. They're family run, and I often see Grandma in the back chopping ingredients. Dad (Nick) is behind the wok, making every soup order individually so food doesn't sit around. They load you up with sauces, utensils, they have a ton of different choices. You want spicy? You got it. The fried rice is delicious, and they even make mine with Hoisin because I've asked for a side of it so many times. Mom runs the counter and treats each person that comes in like a friend, asking if you need anything else, and every time I try and tip her, she refuses. These are very honest, caring people, making great food. The food and the people that own this restaurant is why I order from them almost weekly. Things to definitely get: Their egg drop soup, and their creamy corn soup are perfect staples for flu season. They're thick and flavorful. The General Tso has the perfect amount of spice, but if you want to amp it up, the chef (Nick) will deliver. The sweet and sour pork is nice and crispy, great batter, big chunks of chicken. The sauce is nice and thick, not overly sour and thin like everywhere else in Florida that I've found. The spring/egg rolls are freshly made and very, very tasty. They offer drink specials with the meals, and one 'Dinner' portion is enough to feed me, my boyfriend, AND give us leftovers for almost an entire meal for both of us the next day. Unreal. They're also open until 11pm, which is way later than any place locally. So, you win there, too.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Burnt cashews. Egg shells in egg foo. All onions and little meat in Mongolian beef. Called to complain: they said "whatever" and hung up. Terrible.

My brother came in from DC and we were hungry so we ordered from this place. The food is not fast food, so DON'T expect that. The food took about an hour and was hot and delicious! So good, in fact, my brother and his fiancé swore it was the best they've tasted in a long time, even to DC's Chinatown standards. The honey chicken, delicious and good pieces of meat, so was the General chicken. I mean, if they messed that up, then they have to not be a good restaurant, but everything was perfect! Hot Delicious No errors to the order... What more can you ask for? Oh! They gave us plenty of condiments and fortune cookies.

This is the worst Chinese food I have had in a long time. I wouldn't feed my dog the food from here!

I've ordered delivery from Golden China a couple of times and it's always a pretty seamless process. There is a minimum order amount for delivery....I think about $15 but I'm not sure if thats exact so just keep it in mind in case you are ordering for 1. The food is pretty standard as far as a Chinese takeout place goes so anything you have ordered from a Chinese place before will be about the same here. I've had the sweet and sour chicken, the honey chicken, crab ran goons and egg rolls...again pretty standard Chinese food and I have no complaints. I live about 10-15 min away depending on lights and it usually takes about 30-45 min for my order to arrive so I'd say its an acceptable delivery wait time in my book. If you want to pay with a card you have to do that while you're on the phone as they don't bring any sort of card reader/square/etc.

Ugh. Their is nothing special about this place. Egg rolls are bland. Cream cheese puffs are filthy disgusting. Kung pow chicken wasn't too bad but nothing to write home about. I won't be coming back.

Small restaurant, no a/c, but the food is yummy & very inexpensive. Went in for lunch - $5 for lunch & drink included. Waited a little while (maybe 10 min). Delicious fried rice & my entree (Moo Goo Gai Pan) was delish! Will definitely come again.

My 3rd experience at Golden China still takes me back to warm memories of San Francisco's Chinatown. The food quality is excellent and full of flavor with great prices. They offer brown rice for the health conscience. Fast and friendly service keeps me coming back. One of my favorite dishes is the Mongolian Beef. Yum! Their dinner combo comes with choice of soup, egg roll and Pork fried rice for $7.99. You can't beat that.

Don't eat here , there Was two hairs in my food yesterday when I ordered around 9:30. I ordered chicken with broccoli And white rice , the hair was in the chicken with broccoli. One small hair and one long thick hair it was so disgusting. The most disgusting thing I ever experienced in a fod place, Save your money !! . In the end she never apologized for the hair being in my food but I did get my money back but it was hassle for even that. Smh

I gave ordering take out a chance and it only took 15 minutes. I'm going to stick to ordering take out unless the weathers nasty. Other than that, the food is still pretty good. Definitely my favorite Chinese take out place.

Ordered catering sized fried rice. Asked for a special order, which was excellently fulfilled and was delivered piping hot. The rice was one of the best fried rices I have had in a while. They have a wide menu to choose from and everything I've had so far has been great.

Best bang for the buck, food is always fresh. It sure beats any fast food around the area when it comes to lunch specials.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
